The Young EHMA Project, finalized by the Management Council, reflects the Association’s commitment to engaging with the younger generation and supporting aspiring future leaders in the hospitality sector.
The Young EHMA Group is composed of talented young hoteliers nominated by EHMA members across various delegations who are given the opportunity to participate in the annual General Meeting. The participation fee is covered by their hotel(s) as an incentive and a sign of appreciation, recognizing them as the “best employee of the year.”
The Group is also invited to take part in a parallel educational program on Friday afternoon (held concurrently with the AGM), organized by EHL – Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.
Starting with this edition, several changes have been introduced to give greater prominence to the Young EHMA project and to enhance the validity, credibility, and visibility of the work carried out. The top three participants are now formally recognized following a more rigorous evaluation process conducted by members of EHL faculty. In addition, EHL kindly offers an executive education course to the first and second place winners, while the third-place winner receives a gift from Villeroy & Boch.
