The Spring meeting of the Italian Delegation, held at the Capovaticano Resort Thalasso & Spa - MGallery by Sofitel and kindly hosted by Active member Cinzia Montelli was a great success with a very high participation of the Italian delegation.
The event started on Friday evening with a welcome cocktail and dinner at the beautiful restaurant “Le Pietre Volte” where participants could taste typical products of Calabria.
On Saturday morning during the business session National Delegate Ezio Indiani discussed important points of the agenda such as the evaluation of 44th annual General Meeting, Membership and Financial Situations, activities of the Chapter such as Mentoring Program and other future projects.
The participants had also the opportunity to listen to interesting speakers such as Fausto Arrighi, former Director of the Michelin guide, on “The evolution of the F&B in the hotels” and Vincenzo Villani, De Cecco Technologist, on “Pasta, Italian myth”.
On Saturday afternoon after the Aperò at fabulous “Villa Paola di Tropea”, kindly hosted by Madame Marie Christine Born, participants enjoyed a boat trip to discover the paradisiac corners of the Calabrian coast. Capovaticano Resort was the perfect location for a memorable sunset cocktail and a delicious closing dinner.
