Management Council Meetings

The EHMA Management Council met from 18 to 20 November at the Verdura Resort in Sciacca (Sicily) kindly hosted by its General Manager Marco Truffelli, in conjunction with the autumn meeting of the italian delegation.
The Cocktail and Welcome evening took place at restaurant “Liolà” where all participants could taste a delicious typical sicilian buffet.
On Saturday morning the members of the Board and their accompanying persons could enjoy a tour around the spectacular ”Valle dei Templi”.
During the business session on Saturday afternoon the Councillors discussed many important issues such as the forthcoming annual General Meeting in The Netherlands and related sponsorships, candidatures for Ehma 2018,  Treasurer, Membership, Organization and Future of the Association, Collaboration with Hotel Hotel Schools and collaborations with other Associations. During the meeting the Hotel Manager of the Year 2016 was elected who will be be awarded during the Gala dinner in The Netherlands.
All participants could enjoy a memorable gourmet experience during the gala dinner at restaurant “Amare” of the Verdura Resort.
The next Management Council meeting will be held on 17 March in Noordwijk aan Zee at the Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin on the occasion of the 44th Ehma annual General Meeting.
